Sometimes we want to think about the extra security for our Samsung mobile phone. For this pattern lock provides extra security when we usually use it with a password or PIN. Here I will tell you two methods of remove pattern lock in Samsung Galaxy mobile. One is Reset or remove Pattern Lock Using Google Account and another one is  Reset Pattern Lock Using Factory Reset.

Reset Pattern Lock Using Google Account:


You can easily reset your pattern lock if you have a Gmail account. But you will have to make sure that you have an active internet connection. Without Internet connection this process will not work. You can use Cellular Data Connection or Wifi Connection for Accessing your Google Account. This process is safe; you will not loose any data or personal information.

Step 1:  At first power on your Samsung Device and try to enter incorrect pattern again and again. When a message like "Sorry, try again" will be displayed follow step 2.

Step 2: Press "OK" and then enter the incorrect pattern code four more times.

Step 3: After that "Forgot Pattern?" button will come up. You should Tap “Forgot Pattern” button then enter your Google Account information finally press "Sign In” button.

Step 4: After signing in you will have the option for new pattern lock. So enter a new pattern and then press "Continue." Otherwise, you press "Cancel" to enter a new pattern code later.
Finally you will be able to unlock your pattern lock using Google account.

Reset Pattern Lock Using Factory Reset: 


This process will be helpful when you will have not the chance for resetting your pattern lock using Google Account. When you will not have the internet connection for accessing your Google Account you will have to try this method. This method is also safe but it will erase or delete your all personal information from your phone. If you have a backup you will not loose any of your data. So let’s see how to reset your pattern lock using factory data reset.

Step 1: At first Power off your Samsung device. If it does not shut down, remove your battery and insert it again.

Step 2: After inserting battery Press and hold "Power,"+"Volume Down"+"Volume Up" button together at the same time.

Step 3: Release all the buttons when the Samsung logo appears. This will take to the Android recovery setting. You will see some options for your Android device. You will have to select “Delete All User Data” from there.

Step 4: Use "Volume Down" to highlight "Delete All User Data," and then press "Power" button to select the option properly.

Step 5: Finally Press "Volume Down" button to select "Reboot System Now," and press "Power" to reset your Samsung Device to its default state.
