Forgotten mobile phone PIN
Forgotten mobile phone PIN is a general problem. Most of the Vodafone users say that they have lost their phone PIN Code. Now I am going to tell you what to do if you lost your Vodafone pin.
What will you do if you forget you Vodafone mobile phone PIN?
If you have forgotten your security PIN (personal identification number), or you want to change it, please contact us on 777 or 0800 800 021. We will ask you some security questions to identify you as the person legally responsible for the account, prior to making any changes.
Your 'Account security PIN' is the same PIN you give us when obtaining information over the phone and is a 4-digit number set up by you to enable us to identify you quickly. This is the PIN you use after you have logged into My Vodafone to access or amend account information. You can also join Vodafone community for details discussion
Reset an Vodafone Android Smartphone Tablet
There are 2 forms of reset for your Android phone.
A "soft" reset is basically a power off/power on reboot which doesn't delete any essential data from your device.
A "hard" reset will completely wipe all content from your device with no ability to recover the lost information.
How to Hard Reset your Android phone?
If you're prepared to wipe all data from your device, a hard reset for your Android is as simple as:
- holding down the Power button and tapping Volume Up
- From here, you'll see the Android system recovery menu appear at the top of your screen
- Select wipe data/factory reset with the volume keys, then tap the Power button to activate it
- Select Yes, Erase all user data with the volume buttons, tap Power and you're done.
This method may not work for all devices.
Warning:
We advised you to keep back up your phone settings before trying these codes. Save all phone numbers, important message and other information to the sim or memory card etc. Some phones clear the phone memory when it reset. So I will suggest you to remove your SIM Card and Memory Card.
Remember: We are NOT responsible for any damage to your mobile phone.
